A Clovis Pizza Hut driver making a delivery in the 3000 block of Cesar Chavez Drive was robbed shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday by a man wielding an ax, according to a news release from Clovis police. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s about 5-foot-3 with a small build, Clovis Police Lt. James Schoeffel said in the release. He was wearing a dark green jacket and black knit hat. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money from the driver and fled on foot, running between houses, according to Schoeffel.
