Mr. Jesse Landrum, 87, of Farwell, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at the Farwell Convalescent Center.
He was born on May 30, 1917, in Saltillo, Texas, to James and Ida Cobb Landrum. He married Margaret McSwain on Dec. 3, 1941, in Plainview, Texas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Texico.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Oliver, Elbert, Dyke and Champ.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Pat Landrum of Farwell; a son, Mike Landrum (and wife, Anna) of Lubbock; a brother, Douglas Landrum of Farwell; a sister, Inez Smith of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell.
Pallbearers are Lee Hutchins, Fred Chandler, Johnny Actkinson, Hurshel Harding, R. W. Anderson, Hugh Mosely, Joe W. Jones, Tom Nickels and Jim Berry.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (CST) Wednesday at Steed-Todd Funeral Home in Clovis.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Farwell, Meals on Wheels at Farwell Convalescent Center or charity of your choice.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
