Richard Allen “Bow” Carto, 60, of Clovis, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, at his home. He was born on Jan. 22, 1944, in Flint, Mich., to Lawrence and Helen Tarrent Carto. He married Chong Kim on Oct. 19, 1967, in Korea. He was a quality control inspector for General Motors and served in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Lois Crawford. Survivors include his wife; a son, Lee Carto (and wife, Lisa) of Cannon Air Force Base; four grandchildern, Tabitha and Cody Carto and Tyler and Amanda Mitchell, all of Clovis; a brother, Jerry Carto (Lynda) of Grand Blank, Mich.; and a sister-in-law, Joan Kim of Clovis. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
