Charles David Baxter Services: Have been held. Charles David Baxter, 61, of Clovis, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at his home in Clovis. He was born on Jan. 22, 1943, in Monongahela, Pa., to Charles and Viola Sisler Baxter. He was a Pepsi truck driver for 13 years and he had a drag-race car named “Casper” that he drove in Lubbock and Amarillo. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his two sisters, Norma Reid of Albuquerque and Maggie Dora of Monongahela; nine nieces and nephews; and seven grand nieces and nephews. Rosary will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Clovis. Father Sotero Sena will officiate the services. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
