Mary A. Rael Services: Have been held. Mary A. Rael, 92, of Clovis, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005, at her home in Clovis. She was born on Oct. 10, 1912, in Fort Sumner, to Severo and Olimpia Gallegos Romero. She married Joe G. Rael on June 3, 1929, in Clovis. She was a custodian at Clovis Memorial Hospital and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She was preceded in death by four infant sons; her parents; three sisters, Amada Huerta, Elmira Gonzales and Lalita Romero; two brothers, John and Rudolpho Romero; and a granddaughter, Loretta Crosby. Survivors include three sons, Severo Rael (and wife, Carmen) and Michael Rael, both of Clovis, and Joseph R. Rael (Irene) of San Antonio; three daughters, Mary “Tulis” Romero of Clovis, Alice Sandoval (Blas) of Los Lunes, Helen Crosby (Charles) of Lancaster, Calif.; 26 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Father Sotero Sena will officiate the services. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Muffley Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis. Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis. Pallbearers are Daniel Rael, Jessie Rael, Blas Sandoval Jr., Gabriel Romero, Paul Romero, Andres Romero. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
