Frances J. Height, 89, of Las Vegas, N.M., died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at Vida Encantada Nursing Home in Las Vegas. She was born on June 14, 1915, in Jenkins to Richard Wade and Ellen Hutcherson Cox. She married Ira Ernest Height on May 14, 1938, in Clovis. She moved to Broadview in 1950 and to Las Vegas in 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son, Ira Ernest Height Jr. Survivors include a daughter, Bertha Fern Park (and husband, Melvin) of Las Vegas, N.M.; a son, Lonnie Jack Height (Evonne) of Bullhead City, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. The Rev. Ted Bailey will officiate the services. Burial will be at Grady Cemetery. Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
