Kanas State University Kansas State University students who are academic scholarship recipients for the 2006-2007 school year from Clovis and the surrounding area are Kelsi Rae Boersma, Tayley Alexis Boersma, William David Greig, all of Clovis, Jaymelynn Kay Johnson of Fort Sumner and Caroline Anne Knudson of Portales. Abilene Christian University Abilene Christian University recently recognized 30 graduating seniors as “Servant Leaders” during Chapel in Moody Coliseum. The December graduates were chosen from nominations by students, faculty and staff for fulfilling the role of a servant leader throughout their time at ACU. Derick Shane Mayfield, psychology major from Texico, was honored.
