Loera-Blacklock Eladio Jr. and Yolanda Loera of Plainview, Texas, formerly of Clovis, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Krystal Elena Loera of Clovis to Pvt. 1st Class Ryan Hunter Blacklock of San Diego, formerly of Clovis, son of Ronnie and Rebecca Blacklock of Clovis. The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. Dec. 30, 2006, at the Clovis Civic Center. The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Choices Alternative School. She is employed at Clovis Civic Center. The prospective groom is a 2006 graduate of Choices Alternative School. He is currently with the 1st Battalion 4th United States Marine Corp. The ceremony is open to friends and relatives.
