Pamala Xan Adams, 48, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at her home.
She was born on April 15, 1955, in Fort Sumner.
She was raised in Roswell and graduated from Goddard High School. She worked at The Claim Restaurant as a manager and at Harvard Petroleum. She moved to Amarillo in 1995 and was employed at Crouch Petroleum. She was a member of the Desk and Derrick Club, Rainbow for Girls and Girl Scouts.
She was preceded in death by her father, William H. Stuart.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald W. Adams of Amarillo; her mother, Cordelia K. Stuart of Amarillo; her grandmother, Frances Tucker of Albuquerque; a son, Joshua B. Adams of Amarillo; a daughter, Shauna D. Adams of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Patricia Xan and Patrick Shine, both of Amarillo; a brother, William L. Stuart of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Patricia D. Fails (and husband, William Froggie) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a nephew, Thomas Fails of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and a future daughter-in-law, Janice Chrisman of Amarillo.
The Rev. Mike Williams officiated the services. Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo.
