Oct. 14th Video Releases The Matrix Reloaded – R Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving, Monica Bellucci This second installment of the Matrix trilogy picks up with Neo (Reeves), Trinity (Moss) and Morpheus (Fishburne) as they continue their struggle against a machine army on its way to destroy Zion, the last human city on Earth. As they struggle against this overwhelming foe, they acquire more insight as to the construction of the Matrix, as well as to Neo’s role in saving Mankind. Fans of the Matrix will love this movie. With more fighting and special effects than the first, this movie leaves you wanting more. However, it is one of those sequals that you need to watch the first movie or you might be rather lost. GRADE: B Minus Wrong Turn – R Eliza Dushku, Jeremy Sisto, Desmond Harrington, Lindy Booth A strange car accident forces six travelers to venture out into the Appalachians of West Virginia to find help. But help isn’t what they find. One by one, the group of friends are picked off by a family of cannibalistic mountain men who, after several generations of inbreeding, have become incredibly disfigured and strong. If you are getting together with friends for a night of scary-movie watching, you need to include this one. Absent of the pitfalls you find in most horror movies, this movie delivers. GRADE: C plus
