All city and county offices will be open for the Columbus Day holiday, but state and federal offices will be closed Monday. Specifically, the following city offices will be open Monday: Clovis City Hall, Public Works, the Clovis Area Transit System, the Friendship Center, Baxter-Curren Senior Center and Clovis-Carver Public Library. City sanitation trucks will run regular routes. The city landfill also will be open. The city’s Parks and Recreation Department offices will be open Monday, but Hillcrest Park Zoo will be closed on Monday. All Curry County offices will be open on Monday. Ninth Judicial District Court and Magistrate Court will be closed Monday. Municipal Court will be open Monday. The Clovis News Journal offices also will be open Monday. The U.S. Postal Service will be closed only on Monday. Cannon Air Force Base offices will be closed Monday — except for essential personnel and services. All area banks will be closed Monday.
