Clovis business leaders are sponsoring an economic development forum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in room 409 at Clovis Community College. Mayor David Lansford will present an overview. Other presentations will be moderated by Mark Lautman, president of Santa Teresa Real Estate Development Group, who also has conducted successful economic development efforts in Rio Rancho and Grants. Sponsors include Wells Fargo Bank, Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce, Clovis Industrial Development Corporation and the News-Journal. Admission is $10.
