Martin Garza Services: Have been held. Martin Garza, 63, of Clovis, died Thursday, July 17, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born April 30, 1940, in Wharton, Texas, to Elias J. and Paula Munoz Garza. He attended schools in Wharton. He married Lydia Leal on Oct. 12, 1960, in Rochester, Ind. He lived in Clovis for 29 years, moving here from Hereford. Survivors include his wife, Lydia Garza, of the home; five sons, David Garza, Daniel Garza, Martin Garza Jr., Mario Garza and Marcello Garza, all of Clovis; three daughters, Sylvia Aragon, Viola Rubio and Diana Macias, all of Clovis; a brother, Abel Garza of Hereford; a sister, Mary Flores of Abilene, Texas; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Ernest Cantu Jr. will officiate the services. Rix Funeral Directors of Lubbock is handling arrangements.
