Samplings of recent calls received by the Clovis Police Department, according to police reports: A vehicle repossession agent called police about noon on Wednesday to report he had found a gun while repossessing a 2001 Ford Taurus. Police are holding a Jennings 9 Bryco pistol, two magazines of Bryco ammunition, and 20 bullets for the owners should they choose to claim them. • • • Leaving the vehicle unlocked may have helped thieves steal a stereo faceplate from a Honda Accord parked at a Clovis restaurant. A clerk called police Wednesday morning to report that while she was working late Tuesday evening, someone entered her car and took the faceplate off her stereo but nothing else appears to be missing. • • • When a police officer saw a car exiting an abandoned mobile home park at the 1500 block of MLK, he pulled the car over and asked what the driver was doing in the park. When she said she didn’t know why she was in the park, the officer conducted a search of the car and found two small bags of crack cocaine and other drug paraphernalia. Police took two of the car’s occupants into custody on charges of possession of cocaine.
