On February 15, 2012, at approximately 10:00 AM, Robert Gutierrez, on his own accord, went to Plains Regional Medical Center for treatment.

On January 27, 2012, the New Mexico Department of Health was granted a Temporary Order of Protection by District Court requiring that Mr. Gutierrez be isolated at a medical facility due to an illness.

The Curry County Sheriff’s Office will relinquish custody of Mr. Gutierrez to the New Mexico Department of Health upon their arrival later today.
