Fresh chili
The Portales Kiwanis Club’s 49th annual Chili Dinner is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church, 200 South Ave. C.
It’s open to the public and you can eat there or take it home.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12 at the door or in advance from any Kiwanis member.
