Clovis native Michael Dane was named Tuesday as interim city manager of San Angelo, Texas.
Dane became San Angelo’s director of finance in August 1998.
Located southeast of Lubbock, San Angelo had a population of 93,200, according to the 2010 Census.
According to city press release:
• He served the city of Lubbock as an accountant, senior accountant and senior auditor from 1993 to 1998.
• He worked for the First National Bank of Clovis from 1987 to 1990.
• He worked for Bender, Burnett and Co. in Clovis from 1990 to 1993.
Dane earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Eastern New Mexico University.
