A Tucumcari man was sentenced to 12 years in prison for robbing the American Heritage Bank April 12, 2010, in Melrose, according to a news release from the office of District Attorney Matthew E. Chandler.
According to a news release:
• Patrick Quintana, 26, was sentenced for one count of armed robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
• Quintana also received two years of intensively supervised parole.
• Quintana and three other suspects left the bank with nearly $30,000 in cash.
• Curry County sheriffs located the vehicle identified by witnesses as the vehicle used by Quintana and the three other suspects to flee the scene traveling toward Tucumcari.
