The Wall Street Journal the other day had an article about the leaders of President Obama’s Auto Task Force, none of whom have any experience in the auto industry.
If I were trying to overhaul the medical industry I think I’d hire a few doctors.
Obama’s deep concern for the future of GM and Chrysler is touching. He certainly wants to avoid bankruptcy because the first thing that GM and Chrysler will do in Chapter 11 is cancel union contracts.
Since the unions are a major supporter of President Obama and the Democratic Party it would not be a wise move to let their contracts be canceled. God forbid, GM might even move factories to Right to Work states and pay the same salaries as Toyota, Honda, and Nissan.
I guess it’s time to write my representatives in DC but — oops — they are all Democrats.

Clovis EMT should be commended
Recently my husband and I were having lunch at a local restaurant and he became ill.
Everyone rushed over to help, even the workers. They called 911 and emergency workers were there quickly.
We are so grateful for these kind, concerning people and wish we could thank each one personally. My husband is doing fine thanks to them.
Clovis has extremely caring people and we are very proud to call it our home.
