W.T. Copley, 78, of Muleshoe died Sunday, June 11, 2006, in Farwell Convalescent Center in Farwell. Born Nov. 13, 1926, in Duncan, Okla., he married Margie Staus on Aug. 4, 1951, in Muleshoe. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He lived in the Muleshoe area most of his life. He was a trucker and attended the First Assembly of God Church in Texico. He was preceded in death by his wife; two sons, Walter and John; and one sister. Survivors include two sons, Randol Copley (and wife, Glenda) and Jerry Copley (Karen), all of Muleshoe; daughter, Irene Musick (Lon) of Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Lela Maness of Clovis; brother, J.R. Copley of Olton, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The Rev. Bobby Burns is officiating. Arrangements are by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe.
