ErLinda Flores, 83, of Idalou, Texas, formerly of Muleshoe, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at her home. Born March 3, 1923, in LaFerria, Texas, she married Felipe Flores in LaFerria on July 12, 1943. She moved from Muleshoe three years ago to live in Idalou. She and her family had lived in the Lazbuddie community for many years. She was a housewife and a homemaker. She worked as a nurses aide at the Muleshoe Nursing Home, and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Family members said she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felipe, and a son, Roque. Survivors include four sons, Ruben, Ricardo, Robert and Rene Flores, all of Lubbock, and Roy Flores of Junction City, Kan.; a daughter, Rosa Flores of Idalou, Texas; 22 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. Father Leonardo Parhamtang officiated services. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Lubbock, P.O. Box 16800, Lubbock, TX 79490. Arrangements were by Ellis Funeral Home in Muleshoe.
