Jordan Latron Reid, 30, of Clovis died Friday, May 19, 2006, in Milwaukee, Wis.
He was born May 19, 1976, in Milwaukee to Brenda Wilson and Jordan H. Reid Jr.
He attended school in Milwaukee, Portales and Clovis. He was an Eastern New Mexico University graduate.
He was a member of Faith Christian Family Church, Evangelico Wesleyan Church and Northside Church of God in Christ.
He married Mary J. Garcia on April 23, 2005, in Clovis.
He was employed by Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as a conductor for two years and worked six years for the New Mexico Criminal Justice System.
Family members said he enjoyed playing basketball and football and spending time with his family.
He was a member of the fraternal order of Eagles and Kappa Alpha Phi.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James McWillie; an aunt, Evelyn Cooke; a great-grandmother, Lenora Reid; a great-grandfather, Joe Reid; and a great-uncle, Thomas Reid.
He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Taelyn of Albuquerque and Azalee, Jordan and Savannah, all of Clovis; a son, Nathaniel of Clovis; his mother of Clovis, his father of Milwaukee; two brothers, Lenzy of Phoenix and Patrick of Milwaukee; two sisters, Erica “Honey” of Clovis and Katrina of Milwaukee; his grandparents, J.B. and Charlotte Williams, Jerden Reid, Lee McWillie, Lonzo Wilson Jr., all of Milwaukee; his in-laws, Viola and Rolando Garcia of Clovis; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pastor Maurice Monson will officiate services, assisted by Pastor David Swann.
Burial is at Mission Garden of Memories.
Pallbearers will be Marcus “M.C.” Coleman, Ronald Reid, Mike “Rock” Hampton, Russell Pollard, Lenzy Wilson, Patrick Wilson, Johnny Williams and Kentara Heyward.
