Joe Howard, 75, of Portales, died Friday, May 19, 2006, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. Born June 22, 1930, to Charles and Daisy Paul Howard in Highway, he married Ora Lee Howard on Feb. 10, 1951, in Safford, Ariz. He was a carpenter. He is survived by his wife, of Portales, three sons, two great-nephews and six nieces. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home.
