Albina “Albinita” Martinez, 86, of Clovis, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at Laurel Ridge Healthcare.
She was born Oct. 24, 1919, in Sombrillo to Sotero and Carmelita Cordova Sisneros. She was a homemaker, a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and La Casa Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Willie, Merenciano, Jose, Reducindo and Abelino Sisneros; and two sisters, Santana Cordova and Filomena Montoya.
Survivors include a son, Jose I. Gutierrez (and wife, Pita) of Clovis; a daughter, Helen Alfaro (Ruben) of Clovis; a brother, Napoleon Sisneros of Clovis; two sisters, Carmelita Salazar of Clovis and Jacoba Madrid of Clovis; three grandchildren, Fabian Martinez of Brighton, Colo., Jose Gutierrez of Portales and Ignacio Gutierrez of Clovis; three great-grandchildren, Joaquin, Javier and Jacinta Martinez; and two great-nieces, Destiny and Savannah Garcia.
A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Father Sotero Sena is officiating.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Vaughn.
Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home.
