Bonnie Evelyn Jeter, 96, of Bloomington, and formerly of Clovis, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lloyd Henry; a sister, A. Velma Armstrong, and a niece, Billie Armstrong. She is survived by a son, Melvyn Jeter (and wife, Jerrie) of Normal, Ill.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (CDT) Friday. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Bloomington. Memorials may be made to the Childrens Hospital, 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL 61637.
