The city of Clovis will host a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Clovis Civic Center.
“The purpose of the community visioning event is to hear from Clovis’ residents regarding what is most important to them, what their vision for the community is and what areas they would like the city to focus on in the next few years,” Clovis Mayor David Lansford said in a release.
In the release, Lansford extended invitations to individuals, civic organizations, not-for-profit groups and any other interested residents.
The meeting will be led by Kathie Novak, former president of the National League of Cities and an elected official for 18 years.
The city last held a similar event in 1996, the release said.
