Andrew Thomas, Cameron, Sr., F, Clarendon, Texas — Thomas had 37 points and 14 rebounds as the Aggies split a pair of games last week, including a 19-point, 11-rebound effort in a 69-60 win over Incarnate Word.

ENMU nominee

Rodney Blackmon, Jr., G, Los Angeles — Scored 33 ponts, grabbed 10 rebounds and had 10 assists as the Greyhounds beat Angelo State and Abilene Christian.

Defense

Jon Cathey-Macklin, Tarleton State, Jr., F, Milwaukee — Cathey had four blocks, a steal and 17 rebounds to help the Texans beat McMurry and Texas A&M-Commerce. He posted his first career double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds against McMurry.

ENMU nominee

Dennis Hardwell, Jr., F, Los Angeles — Had four blocks, 15 rebounds (11 defensive) and two steals in the Hounds’ two wins.

Kiara Wright, Tarleton State, Jr., C, Pittsburg, Texas — Wright recorded the first 20-20 game in the TexAnns’ 18-year NCAA Division II history on Saturday with 23 points and a career-high 21 rebounds in a 75-65 wiun over Texas A&M-Commerce. TSU has four 20-20 games all-time and Wright has two of them, both this season.

ENMU nominee

Jordyn Cooper, Fr., G, Texico — After going scoreless on Wednesday at Angelo, Cooper erupted for a season-best 20 points on 7-of-8 shooting and 5-of-5 from 3-point range on Saturday as the Zias beat Abilene Christian 81-73 and knocked the Wildcats out of a share of the LSC lead.

Defense

Lisa Hampton, Midwestern State, So., G, Kennedale, Texas — Hampton had five blocks and five steals as the league-leading Mustangs extended their winning streak to nine by beating Incarnate Word and Texas A&M-Kingsville. She also scored 29 points, including 17 with a career-best-tying five 3-pointers against Kingsville, and added five assists.

ENMU nominee

Hannah Altheide, Sr., G, El Paso — Had three steals in each of ENMU’s two games. She had two defensive rebounds in the Zias’ 81-73 upset of ACU and hit 4-of-5 from 3-point range en route to a season-high 18 points.
