Eastern New Mexico University has another record enrollment.

A university news release reports 5,222 students enrolled for the spring semester.

“This is an increase of 2.7 percent over last year’s spring record of 5,084,” the release stated.

The release also said student credit hours — the measurement by which higher education institutions base funding —  increased by 2.6 percent, to 52,373.

“We are pleased with our continued growth each year,”  said Steven Gamble, ENMU president. “Our faculty and staff have worked hard to make this happen.”
