Last time out: The Lady Coyotes posted a 53-32 District 4-4A win over Artesia on Tuesday at Roswell. The Class 5A top-ranked Lady Wildcats beat Carlsbad 65-29 on Tuesday in District 4-5A at Carlsbad.

Last meeting: February 2012, the Lady Cats posted a 46-38 win at Roswell.

Common opponents: The teams have face eight common opponents, with Roswell High going 8-3 and Clovis 9-1. The Lady Coyotes, ranked No. 2 in Class 4A, lost twice to Hobbs (Clovis has split with the Lady Eagles) and were edged 39-38 early this season by Lovington.

Of note: Roswell High has gone 3-3 this season in road games. … The Lady Coyotes’ roster includes eight seniors, but they also rely on a number of younger players. … Among the top players for Roswell High are 5-foot-6 senior G Tiffani Bolanos and 5-10 sophomore P Georgia Eldridge. … The Lady Cats finish the regular season next week, hosting Carlsbad on Tuesday and visiting Hobbs on Friday.
