CNJ Staff Clovis High School staff is hosting a public meeting to discuss Adequate Yearly Progress 7 p.m. Thursday in the library. The meeting will include a presentation on AYP, what the school’s standing is and what it is doing to improve scores.

CNJ staff The state Public Education Department will release the 2008 Adequate Yearly Progress Reports on Friday, according to a department press release. The report is a No Child Left Behind yardstick used to measure student’s reading and math skills. Eight Clovis schools and two Portales schools did not meet academic proficiency last year.
