Nilen Ellis “Bird” Birdsong, 73, of Clovis, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, at his home in Clovis. He was born Jan. 8, 1932, in Hooks, Texas, to Fred and Beaula Triple Birdsong. He married Setsuko “Miko” Tomikawa Sept. 21, 1960, in Okinawa. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1973 as a tech sergeant. [...]
