PORTALES—Eastern New Mexico University, in Portales, will host its 116th Commencement Convocation on Saturday, May 16 at 10 a.m. in Greyhound Arena. There are 322 candidates for the 2009 spring graduation. The commencement speaker will be New Mexico state Sen. Gay Kernan. She is on the Senate Education Committee.
The following Clovis-area residents are among the 168 graduation candidates at Eastern New Mexico University this fall. Commencement is 10 a.m. Saturday at ENMU’s Greyhound Arena in Portales. Students with a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 to 4.0 will graduate summa cum laude, while 3.7 to 3.79 will graduate magna cum laude.
