Xcel delays submitting energy rate revision

Freedom New Mexico An Xcel Energy spokesman said Wednesday the company has postponed filing its revised rate increase request. Spokesman Wes Reeves said the revised request will be significantly lower than the 6.2 percent increase orginally sought last December. Reeves said the new filing could be presented Friday to the state Public Regulatory Commission.
